Alexandra Hatley (she/her) is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. With a background in psychology and sociology, Alex has experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and supporting those in crisis. Her counseling philosophy is rooted in multiculturalism and feminism, integrating cognitive-behavioral and person-centered approaches. Passionate about trauma-informed care, Alex is exploring somatic techniques to help clients process trauma stored in the body, fostering healing and self-empowerment.
